Reddit Cam: You think just because you stay awake for weeks you hold the record here? I do.

Phantasm: Weeks? Nah nobody can stay awake that long

Reddit Cam: Well, I'm not a nobody, I've had to stay up on restless nights where the innocence beckoned for help that would never respond. I've been awake for seven months before it came crashing down on one bite, and my only bullet to my head to make sure none of my rescuees had to kill their savior. That and the Destroyed Drones would bang on the side of my van every time I did try to sleep, so I had those to deal with too.

Reddit Cam: I swear I saw some messed up shit most of the time back then. I was younger, despite being 35, and I was scared all the time. Could you imagine being alone on an Exoplanet where nobody would care if you died there and only had a gun you had off to go for your funeral?

Phantasm: That sounds… terrifying

Reddit Cam: Yeah... every day was nightmarish. Knowing if I died to suicide, Destroyed Drone, Mercenary, or even equipment failure, nobody would ever know, and my job would've been left incomplete....

Reddit Cam: Sure... I saved countless innocent lives, but at what cost? Human lives? Drops of blood? My stability? The way I saw the world? at this point, I... I don't even know...
