Yeah, there were too many hackers in the game so... they shut it down. And I'm not talking about the people who mod their Wii U for ofline purposes (those are the cool people), I'm talking about the people who ruin the match for everyone, including their teammates. I hope those mfs are happy with what they've caused.

I haven’t played a lot of the first game, but I remember playing it with my cousin when I was 5. I’m gonna miss it.

I never played Splatoon 1 but I’ve seen videos of it which is what got me hooked on Splatoon

And it's not even 10 years old and it's dying...

BUT, There is a solution! There's this thing called Pretendo (I think its free) and if you can mod your Wii U or something you'd be able to play Splatoon 1 regularly. I think it was made around the time where S1 went into maintenance for 4-6 months? I forgot.

At least it got to 9 years
