It might be that way in English, but in Russian, the name of the holiday roughly translates to 'passing over.' I guess the name varies between languages and the various beliefs that exist within those communities.

Some people call it passover in US, some call it Easter. The point is, Cultures are co-opted, assimilated and/or subverted into other cultures. It's a natural part of the human condition. To say that people are intentionally. trying to replace someone else (especially within the context of the American White Nationalist conspiracy theory of Great Replacement) is ludicrous.
