It’s usually the feeling of limerence, where you love them for the attention you give them.
It’s rare when it’s genuinely love, where you love them for how they are. They might have some flaws, but then both can ignore them (unless it’s major flaws)
Your face starts to feel warm and your heartbeat gets a little quicker
Also, your eyes might get drawn to things you see as attractive (perhaps boobs, butt, thighs, abs, etc)
true me personally I f**king hate people like I mean if a book character sound attractive I would simp for them but the fact that people have crushes and revolve their whole life around it just seems... well pointless.
I'm probably not the best example. Since most of my crushes have been coexistent with extreme envy or depression. But the best way I can describe it is like friendship+. A crush can develop slowly when you start to have a good bond with somebody. Or it can develop suddenly but those ones don't last.
Essentially you want to get to know that person more you want to learn everything about them.
You want to give them gifts and take them places and do stuff they like.
And if they reciprocate you got yourself a SO
