CM. *Spins his crowbar* Ya need help?

???: (Right) Please!

CM *Jumps right into the demons, they notice his left hand is covered in ink*

*The two continue destroying a few, and eventually their all gone, reduced to ink puddles on the floor*

Um, how did you get here? *They notice his hand is ink-covered*

(Ima just use their names- 😅)
Dallin: Used to work here. He was in graphic design. *he gestures at Charlie, while staring at your hand*

Cool

Nicole: *carrying a pipe terrified still* ..!

*the two are being cornered as the one with the axe brings it down on one of them*

*she seems too scared to do anything*

*Charlie (left) backs against the wall and a slightly bigger ink demon jumps on him. Dallin (right) notices you, stares at you for a moment, then rushes to help charlie*

*she wants to help but can't fight*

*as they kill of the final demons, they end up with minor injuries, Charlie just has some scratches on his face, Dallin walks over to you*
Dallin: are you okay…?

Nicole: *nods*

Dallin: *he sighs of relief* good-

Nicole: ...? *shes looking for something*

Dallin: did you lose something?

Nicole: *she signs hesitantly not knowing if you know it* looking for paper

Charlie: Like… a specific paper or..?

Nicole: *shakes head* *in sign* I was unsure if you knew sign or not

Charlie: *He nods* I do, but dummy here doesn't.
Dallin: Hey!

*she smiled a bit*

Dallin: Im not a dummy!
Charlie: Puedes entender esto?
Dallin: uh-
Charlie: Exactly.

*she looks around as they argue looking for anything potentially useful*

*Charlie eventually sighs and looks around a bit also*

*she then picks up a watch and curiously examines it*

Charlie: what’cha find?

*she shows it to you*

Charlie: huh….

*she signs with a disappointed look* aw man it doesn't work...

Charlie: Can I see it?

*she gives it looking for more stuff*

*He flicks it a few times, and a few minutes later he hands it back to you, working*

*she seems surprised* *sign* what?! how did you do that?!

Charlie: Magic.

Galene: *helps fight them off*

*When you all fight them off, everything is quiet except their heavy breathing*
???: (Right) Thanks for that, you stuck here too?

Galene:

???: We've been here for who knows how long. You okay?
*The other guy walks over with a slight limp*

Galene: *in a soft voice* I'm fine.

???: Good. *Looking at his friend* Charlie? You okay?
Charlie: Mhm. *hes still gripping his axe*

Galene: .....

Dallin: Care to walk with us? Name's Dallin by the way.

Galene: Sure.

*A few moments later a loud roar echoes through the building*
Charlie: The ink demon- *he flinches*

Galene: *seems not so worried about it*

*he sprints toward Charlie, he cares for him like a older brother*

Galene: *does the same*

Dallin: Charlie look at me.
*when Charlie lifts his head, one his eyes are completely white*
Dallin: Oh god… I’m gonna break these chains just hold on.

Galene: *helps Dallin break the chains*

*charlie stands*
Charlie: I’m good n-
Dallin: *picking up Charlie’s axe* CHILDREN OF THE MACHINE MY ASS!!! *he swings the axe directly into the writing on the wall*

Galene: .....

Charlie: !!!
Dallin: YOU-
Charlie: Dheusta.
Dallin: *he looks back, then frowns and walks back over*

Galene: *walks over to the writing on the wall*

*They both watch you, Dallin looks like a guilty child*

*A familiar scream echoes from up ahead*

Galene: *thinks* It's Charlie.

*Dallin runs ahead*

Galene: *follows*

*You enter another very dimly lit room*

Galene: *looks around*

Dallin: I found a light switch-
*Dallin wasn't quite ready for the scene before him as he flicked on the light, Charlie was chained in the center of a satan circle, his entire left half of his body infected, and written in jagged letters on the wall was: "CHILD OF THE MACHINE"*

Galene: *flinches at the light turning on*

*Dallin felt the air be whisked from he lungs and he gasped*

Galene: *looks toward Dallin*

Dallin: Its okay- *You now notice that Charlie's left arm is completely infected with ink*

Galene: .......

Dallin: we better go- if probably found the demons we killed.

Galene: yeah *starts walking*

*As you walk, Dallin spins his wrench across his fingers until you finally reach a boarded up door*

Galene: *stops*

*Dallin nods Charlie forward and with one quick whack with his axe the rotted boards fall to the ground*

Galene: *scans the room*

*it’s too dark to see anything, so Charlie pulls out a small flashlight and shines it around the room, revealing a singular cassette tape on the floor*

Galene: *thinks* Hm....

*Suddenly Charlies flashlight drops onto the floor, his scream cutting off midway*

Galene: *turns around to face them*

Dallin: oh shit- *Charlie is nowhere in sight*

Galene: *realization settles in* Oh no....

Dallin: *he swallows* he can fend for himself for a minute... We have to find a cassette player

Galene: *seems to map her way around in her head* Hm....

*he begins to pace*

Galene: Um.....

Dallin: Its this way. *He starts to walks away*
