My little brother has autism. Its pretty severe and he cant form coherent sentences at 8. That being said, I would never use it as a insult because that's bullshit. Just like calling someone gay.
my older brother has low-functioning autism. his words are all wonky (I can understand him, I've become his translator) and hearing people make fun of him or use autsm as an insult makes me mad. just don't.
In pain; Everyone, if you could refrain from using autism as an insult, that would be great. I know that not many people on this stream do, but I don't want to see it at all. That's because I'm autistic and seeing people use the name of one of my mental disorders as an insult offends me. A lot. So please, just don't do it.
