The people who believe that the universe is around that age believe that the Bible is entirely literal, which is wrong because it has used figurative language several times in it. The Bible also does not mention how long each of the six days of creation lasted in terms of specific length - a day in that context could be longer, maybe millions of years in our equivalent, allowing for the actual scientific age of Earth to be accommodated within that. Christianity itself is not based on Young Earth Creationism and is often mistaken for being so.
ahahhahahah it's their beliefs ahahahhahahahah who's gonna be right someone who's edgy and wants to stand out or something that almost 2 billion people believe in?
actually, over 3.5 billion , because of Christianity and Islam, the two largest religions, and could even be 4.7 billion, but I don't know that much of Hinduism
