The item appears to be a typical blank white pillow. The pillow is stuffed with goose feathers and appears to be comfortable, according to tests from D-class personnel. Nightmares usually begin 30 minutes to an hour after the first REM cycle. During the nightmares, it is reported that subjects sweat profusely and shiver. Extreme stress levels have been found in some cases.
