Why do i feel like im gonna end up doing something like this as an adult?

Do you care about animals, and have compassion for the little ones? If so, that makes you a good person.

Are you concerned about diminished mental abilities as you age? That happens to almost everyone who is blessed with a long life.

Are you worried about doing something incredibly stupid and embarrassing? That kind of embarrassment won't kill you; otherwise I'd be deader than Julius Caesar.

Whichever might be true, there are worse things to worry about. I, for example, wonder how horrible world war 3 will turn out to be.

Your comment indicates moral courage and honesty. Those, in turn, indicate strength of character. So I think you'll be fine.
