Info on his ability in comments!

Daph has the ability to see other people’s shadows. It’s a thing only he can see, shadows often tend to be attached to people. Shadows are creepy, shadowy beings that have been created by your doubts, worries, fears, and anxiety. They also speak, only Daph can hear them. The shadows tend to be brutally honest. When Daph speaks to the shadows, two inky black hands (left hand with a mouth, right with an eye) cover his face

Del turns around and tenses when he sees Daph's face. He quickly grabs a wet rag and runs over to Daph to wipe the blood away from his face.

Daph: *his hands are shaking and he looks at you* I-I sliced my throat this time.

Del grabs another rag and presses it to the wound on Daph's throat. "Can you breathe? It doesn't seem to have hit your windpipe or jugular vein, so that's good."

Daph: Yeah… I can. Shadow wound heal faster than normal ones…

"Good.."

*though he knows he’ll be fine, his hands still are shaking*
Daph: Thanks….

He hugs Daph tightly. "I'm glad you're okay."

Daph: *he hugs you back* You shouldn’t worry….

"I'm gonna worry about you.."

Daph: Well I suppose I can’t stop you-

"You cannot."

*he chuckles softly*
Daph: worth a shot.

He hugs Daph again.

*he gives you a little squeeze before letting go*

"Shit, dinner is burning-" Del turns back towards the pan and quickly takes it off the heat.

Daph: Oh- sorry- *he chuckles nervously*

"No no, it's okay! Don't apologize."

Daph: I also may have uh- gotten blood on that jacket I borrowed- *since he is smol he can literally fit into anything, and often steals a shirt here and there*

"Ah, okay. Well, I have to do laundry anyways!"

Daph: Sorry....

Galene: *turns, realizes, and teleports to him cleaning up his face*

*he gets to work on it*

Galene: *continues*

*five minutes later he finishes*

Galene: *had finished as well*

Daph: anything else?

Galene: Can you start lining the pan with the tortillas?

*he simply does so*

*they finish and Galene puts it in the oven*

*he smiles, somewhat proud of himself because he sucks at cooking, like, my man lit WATER on FIRE*

Galene: *smiles*

*he goes and sits at the table and waits*
Daph: It’s my turn to wash the dishes right?

Galene: I think.

*sigh*
Daph: okay-

*he stands up*
Daph: need any help?

Galene: If you want to help you can.

Daph: give me a job and I’ll do it.

Galene: *thinks*

Galene: You know how to do the tortillas for enchiladas?

*nod*

Galene: Okay. Get to it.

Daph: *he starts to fidget* Sorry-

Galene: It's fine. *she walks back to the kitchen to continue dinner*

Daph: *he had borrowed your jacket for his meeting and had gotten his blood on it* I also uh-

Galene: Got blood on my jacket? It's fine. It can be washed off.

Daph: I thought I stained it- okay good-

Galene: It's fine if it is stained. *continues cooking*

Daph: *he sits quietly*

Galene: *continues*

*he takes off his headband and then puts it back on for no apparent reason*

Daph: It sliced my throat t-this time-

Galene: *continues* It's okay.

*he wills himself to trust you, even though his hands are shaking*

Galene: *starts to heal his wound*

*he just watches you*

Galene: *finishes healing his wound* Do you feel better....?

Daph: yeah…. I can breathe again *he swallows*

Galene: *finishes cleaning his face* That's good.
