I listened to God is Really real when they released it after their dad died

I like some of their songs, Bang and Way Less Sad are bangers, but I found their Maybe Man album recently and gave it a listen. I love almost all the songs in it but DAMN did God is Really Real make me cry. I never really had a father figure so I get really f**king emotional over anything involving one.

Yeah maybe man was super good

I like most of the songs from OK orchestra and Neotheater. The Click was alright not as good as the other three.

I'm not a massive AJR fan but I like their music. They're very unique and I like their writing style.

basically it's the singer saying his dad can't get out of bed. I looked it up, while he was writing his album his dad got diagnosed with and died to lung cancer. the lyrics basically say that god is real when you need him to be and doesn't do shit when it matters, so pretty accurate.

you can have control over being gay. if you just find something you really like in someone of the opposite gender you will eventually like them. you just need the right one. but im not saying you have to be not gay
