and a test if you do bad on, you get a shitty score, while homework if you do bad on it (i do online school and homework is in the form of quick checks at the end of each lesson) it barely affects your grade and you learn

I believe it is to show if you can do it on your own without a teachers assistance and you can apply it in real world situations

however if a student cant do it why grade it
