they jist want attention, so there are two ways of getting though this. upfront: remind them that they need to calm down; sneaky way (my pick) just ignore them when they yell making their brain behind the scene realize that yelling is inefective. (sycological battle)
I think I have tryed the first one, it failed miserably, aand the second one if I know my friend, he will tell my parents that I am ignoring him and I will get in trouble
no just ignore them when they are acting up. but after they calm down then you can continue with what you were doing. mind you that if it is short bursts then just remind them if it goes on for 2 minuest or so use the ignoring stratigy but if it is an extencive time frame like 10 to 15 minuets i would put both of my hands on their sholders and tell them to calm down. i do this on my freind and they go from 100 to 0 in 8.5 milliseconds whitch is a sign of an unstable emotive fuction
