Eliza: *walks up to him in her theorists gear* hey um.... Are you MatPat from the theory YouTube channels.

*He looks back at you, immediately noticing your gear*
Matpat: Oh yeah, thats me. *He smiles*

Eliza: When I first watched that video, it was just a huge shock. I grew up watching you. But I know you have your reasons....

"It's nice to meet you i watched your last video you were just fun to watch and that video just made me cry just watching it".

Matpat: Hold on- *He gets on one knee* Oliver! Come'ere for a second! *The kid runs over and jumps into his arms, he stands and turns back to you*

"Well thanks for listening to me I let you be ".

Matpat: Oh no! Your fine! *He little boy waves at you*

Matpat: Mhm!

"Excuse me, but are you MatPat of the YouTube Theorist Channels?"

"Oh, man, this is such an honor! You were a huge part of my childhood, and I'm honestly really sad that you're retiring. It emotionally hurts me that there are gonna be so many generations of kids who are gonna grow up with the theorist channels but not know who you are."

Matpat: *His smiles fades* Well I'm glad you liked the videos but... I'm sorry. I really am *he stuffs his hands in his pockets* If ya wanna blame somebody, blame that munchkin over there. *points out a kid sitting in the grass*

"No, no, it's okay. Really. I know you have your reasons for retiring, and I just want you to know that I appreciate everything you've done for YouTube and my childhood. In fact, I'm gonna let you in on a secret. For the longest time, I've wanted to join Team Theorist and work alongside you and the other members of Team Theorist. I was actually wondering if… if maybe that dream still has a chance to become a reality. It would be such an honor for me if I could join the team. Maybe as a scriptwriter or something like that, because I know you've already got the new hosts for the channels picked out." *I look eager to hear his response, but also not super needy or desperate*

Matpat: well…. Why not? *he offers a handshake*

*I shake his hand* "This is the best day of my life. Oh, by the way, my name's Ren."

Matpat: well it’s nice to have you on the team, Ren.

"So, just out of curiosity, what position will I have on the team? I'm not trying to pressure you into a rushed decision, so if you haven't yet decided, it's fine. Just make sure to tell me when you do make a decision."

Matpat: Well I’m thinking… we need a new scriptwriter. Our other one quit

"Well then, I'm more than happy to take over. But just like for the new hosts of the channels when it comes to hosting, I can only do scripts for one channel. But I do have some friends who would most likely be willing to do scripts for the other channels. Personally, I'd prefer to do scripts for Film Theory, but it's your decision."

Matpat: then you can do it for film theory, Ren. I’m not a mean guy, I’m open for any suggestions.

"Awesome! Now, as for those friends I mentioned, they're my girlfriend Breana, the third wheel of our relationship Michael, and my younger brother Ben. I was thinking that Breana could do scripts for Style Theory, Ben could work on Food Theory, and Michael could do them for Game Theory."

Matpat: As long as they can write, of course.
