I'm okay with people having crushes on me, the problem is when it becomes a public matter. Until the most recent ones, all the other confessions were dms which I politely turned down. The most recent one was posted without talking to me at all. I don't know if it was a joke or what, but it did make me uncomfortable. (as for the fic mentioned in the tag, that was a semi-request and it was written by a friend)

Yeah. But I don't mind a schoolkid crush. Lots of younger people look up to older folks and have crushes. Doesn't mean they'll go anywhere. It's like crushing on celebrities or a friend's older sibling. Crushes aren't deep emotional bonds or anything. I just don't like it being spouted about publicly.
