If something like “they’re okay” or “I support” personally I’d say something like “what if, hypothetically, I am trans” and go from there. If they say something supportive, say something like “well, I’ve been waiting to tell you a long time” blah blah blah and if not supportive say “oh, well I was just wondering. You don’t have to worry about that”

And if not supportive answer with the first question, go to the “I was just wondering, since I read an article on (insert random trans article)” or something like that

Quick note, do NOT come out if you know the environment is unsafe. If you plan to come out anyway, always have a place to go!!

oh this feels layed out wrong, my alerts fire off when someone says hypotheticaly. be need a bypass(a bi-pass if you will) id say talk abount you having a trans friend to lower suspision, i used this tecuniqe on my dad and he was not on the same page as me. however im lucky to have suportive parrents.

jokes aside, start with asking them about their views on transgenders and so on. if they have negative views, I suggest you not tell them because it might lead into problems.
