Sure. Vegeta did the "Bang" before this earlier in Z. You could say the same about Chainsaw Man, MANGA SPOILERS: Makima doing the BANG. Yu Yu Hakusho is iconic. Lost of anime's have taken or referenced things in Yu Yu Hakusho before.

This is only in terms of the anime. Super Saiyan 3 debuted in Shonen Jump in June of 1994.
