Info:In TimeZones campaign,Co-op and multiplayer. you can have a Pet in timezone. but to get them? you gotta find the animal in a cage and free it. when you first begin the game. you already own a cat(you can choose what style of cat it is). there is 2 pets you will get no matter what. A baby black bear that flynn names "BooBoo" that you get early in the game as a tutorial for finding the cages. and a adorable fox for completing the game.
Can they help you in combat? Yes! they will grab onto enemies to stun them so you can kill your enemies. in multiplayer. they will not fight. but they can still execute their enemies. Each pet have their own executions. the baby black bear would scratch their foe's face several times and then bite their hands off. you can give our pets orders to do thing's such as distracting rock katson when hes hunting you down. he will pet them allowing you to sneak past him. after he finishes petting them. he will let them be. and your pet will sneak back to you. Rock wont get suspicious if the pet walks towards where flynn is hiding. if its a locker. your pet will stand right outside of it.
can they be killed? Thankfully, No. if you look at them with your gun out. your gun will be pointed up or down so you can't kill them. if they get hit by your grenade. they wont react to the pain or die. they can't die in general. there unkillable, nothing can kill them. even rock katson.
how many pets can you use at once? sadly only one.
will they expose your position when your sneaking around? no. even if they make noises. enemies will ignore it. but they will get suspicious if they see your pet killing a foe.
example Details about the pets:if you idle around for to long. pets will sleep until you either shoot or move.
if you light a flare when Booboo is equipped. he will step back if you get close to him. hes afraid of flares.
if you order a dog(of your choice) to interact with you. they will have a rare chance to shake hands with you.
