Ill buy that, however, you're sidestepping the biggest hurdle of all: human nature. The rich sell-out-politicians, bankers and elitists want their puppetmasters to keep them in power as long as they can, so they will lie, kill, cheat and steal from whoever they need to to maintain control and please their overlords.
That includes heavy propaganda indoctrination in schools, libraries, the media, movies, radio stations, etc..
They will always justify starting wars between their enemies, and demonizing/abusing those who question their inhumane acts of authority.
I mean, how else would unbridled humans act if they disregard their Creator and His laws of justice? Easy—they make themselves gods with supreme authority.
