Why are they lettin' that little girl just lie around in bed? She should be up and doin' chores! Because she is sick! They think she's been bewitched or something. Haven't you been listening in class? I've listened the whole time! But they're just blabbity-blabbin' about nonsense, and nobody's just sayin' "Get out of that bed, Betty, you lazy little heifer!"; I'm telling you that poor child might be really sick! Or worse!
