Corey: hm-? *Looks at him as he was toasting berries over a campfire, with Gengar and Chandelure by his sides*

You have a Gengar too? Delightful.
*You can't see his face, his head is covered by a hood and golden steampunk goggles

Corey: yeah...he's the first pokemon i ever caught...*Motioned to a seat next to him* you're welcome to have a seat, if you don't want to then that's your decision

Gryff: I've got a gengar, Umbreon, mimiku, and Growlithe.

Corey: hm, those are quite loyal pokemon you've caught

Gryff: oh yeah. And of course my loyal starter, mudkip.

Corey: hm *The corner of his mouth seemsd to curve upwards a bit in almost a smile but not really*

Gryff sits and let's his shiny Umbreon out

Nori: (human form): o-oh! Hey!

corey: ? *Looks at her, with Gengar and Chandelure by his sides, Chandelure just staring at the campfire as it cooked some berries on a branch Corey was holding over the flame*

Nori: hey there…. *she smiles but then hides her mouth*

Nori: what are you doing out here?

Corey: hey...im just camping out, on my way back to the elite four

Nori: cool pets…. *she eyes them*

Corey: ? *Looks at Gengar and Chandelure* oh, they aren't my pets, they're more...companions
Gengar: *Chuckles* Ge-e-engar!
Chandelure: *Staring at the campfire as if in a trance*

NORI: can i pet them?

Corey: well...not gengar, but you could try giving chandelure a little tap
Chandelure: *Still looming over the campfire*

Nori: *taps it*

Chandelure: *Appears to jump a bit and looks at Nori. It felt warm considering the large flame on top it's heat but oddly frigid as well*

NORI: huh… hi buddy *smiles*

Chandelure: *Seemed to squeak a bit and went back to looking at the fire*
Corey: heh...

Nori: mind if i crash here tonight *poofs into human form*

Corey: hm...sure, i could use some company...
*A Krookodile popped out from one of Corey's pokeballs*
Krookodile: Krook!!
Corey: hm, you hungry Krookodile?
Krookodile: Di, krook! *Nodded*
Corey: *Reached into his pokebag and pulled out a dark type pokepuff, then gave it to Krookodile*
Krookodile: *Devours it*

(Team: Toxtricity, Ditto, and Mimikyu)
Charlotte: Hello?

Corey: toasted berry jelly. good to eat and perfect to heal Pokemon who are affected by burn, paralyze, etc. *Pulled out the perfectly toasted berries out of the fire*

Charlotte: that's sounds really good, could I have some? *puts mimikyu in her lap, while Toxtricity sits next to her*

Corey: of course *Pulled out a ceramic dish and a mashing tool, then started mashing the berries making a dark purple jam. He then finished and pulled out some small jars and poured some of the jelly into the two jars*

Charlotte: Thank you!

Corey: you're welcome *Handed her one jar*

Charlotte: *opens it up and hands it to Toxtricity* be sure to share

*The jam tasted sweet and sour with some zing to it*

Charlotte: damn... *petting Mimikyu*

Corey: what do you think?

Charlotte: it's good!

Corey: ? *Looks over with Gengar and Chandelure by his sides as he's cooking three berries over a campfire* oh, hello

Charlotte: May I sit?

Corey: ...sure, go ahead *he seemed to grin a bit and turned back to the campfire.*

Charlotte: *sits down, letting her pokemon out*

Corey: *Looks at her Pokemon* hm...nice partners you have there *He seemed a smile a bit*

Charlotte: I've had ditto here since I started my journey! *places ditto on her head*

Corey: heh, that's nice *Four other balls opened on his belt.*
Krookodile: Dile!
Trevenant: *Groans and creaks like an old tree*
Banette: Ban-Ban!
Bisharp: Bisharp.
Corey: -! *Looked behind him* ah, hello everyone

Charlotte: I only have these 3...

Corey: *Looks at her* well that's fine, there is always the chance to befriend new Pokemon, right? *Took the berries out of the fire and examined them, then put them back over the fire*

Charlotte: *nods* What're you making?

Corey: nice-! im glad you like it

Charlotte: im pretty sure my pokemon enjoy it as well

Corey: hm. *Pulled out a ball and threw it* chandelure, go *Chandelure popped out, ready to battle*

Charlotte: Ghost against ghost I guess *shrugs*

Corey: *Nods* I'll have to warn you, ghost types are one of my specialties. so don't expect an easy battle

Charlotte: Mimikyu, Shadow Claw!

Corey: chandelure, counter with fire spin
*Chandelure spun in hot blue fire and a small fire tornado flew after Mimikyu as it attempted an attack*

Charlotte: Mimikyu use charm!

Corey: im happy they like it too *smiled and looked off into the woods* ...hey, this might seem sudden, but...would you mind having a little friendly battle with me? i get to know people better through how they battle with their pokemon

Charlotte: Of course! *kneels down to her pokemon* you guys down? *they all chatter in what seems to be agreement* alright then!

Corey: *Smiled* great *Looked at his pokemon* since you only have three, ill also limit myself to three.

Charlotte: Thanks *waits for him to pick*

Corey: *Picked his three* Alright, ready?

Charlotte: *nods and puts Mimikyu out 1st*
