Here is why boy vs girl memes are bad and sexist:; 1. They promote gender stereotypes as it has the girls be all stereotypical and the boys are portrayed in a very good light as quirky while the girls are portrayed as boring. They also have the common stereotypes of only boys enjoying gaming and girls enjoying shopping and make up. Worst of all, the meme is in the relatable memes videos meaning people do think those stereotypes are true and the ones saying that the boy vs girl memes are just jokes are only making excuses. 2. They act like girls are worthless npcs as they often have dialog that insults the boys in some memes in which the boys side prove them wrong. It honestly just puts girls at a negative light of being toxic and wrong while also saying only boys can engage in those certain things and not girls. 3. They have this formula where the girls are just background characters who acts stereotypical and says "omg" all the time while the guys deliver the punchline. It just makes it look like boys have more value than girls when girls are just as important.
