same here, but wii has a place in my heart. switch, eh, not so much

Umm actually you can dodge with mushroom on Deluxe too 🤓🤓🤓

in mario kart wii it is possible to dodge a blue shell in several, though incredibly hard, ways: mushrooms(duh), dashpads, canons(any one remember what we had before gliding?), super turbos* (*150cc on conveyer belt, requires nanosecond precision.) and jump boosts* (*also requires 150cc nanosecond precision.)

wii is special because mushrooms were the only way to escape blue shells, and the player required a lot of skill to do it (and the low chance that they even got a mushroom in first place). 8 deluxe, on the other hand, allows even noobs to pull it of with the airhorn which is common in first place anyway.
