So when I was 14 I was at home one day cleaning out the fridge, removing leftovers and throwing them away. My house at the time had a sink with a garbage disposal and as I was throwing leftovers into the garbage disposal it got clogged, so I had the bright idea to stick my hand into the garbage disposal and shift whatever gunk was in there around while turning the disposal on and off to see if it would work. Thankfully it never did because the garbage disposal had multiple blades that spin around rapidly and easily could have cost me a finger or five.
