actually I've heard trans ppl say thats not true, and they say the media tries to censor anyone who isn't happy with it because pharmacies make oodles of money off the trans community so they pay people to shut them up so they can try and get more customers
I've seen ppl say that if you get a trans operation you are likely to be stuck on meds for life even if you change your mind, and you are at a higher disease risk
If this stuff is true, I think the real "transphobes" (people who hate the people in the community) are the people lying to them and trying to get them in the community to make a profit. Because they could care less about the individuals joining the community and are really only looking at paychecks. Especially when a lot of what drives people to want to change their gender is self dissatisfaction or self hate. There are many options to consider before bodily harm. But they've presented it as the cool new victim thing so everyone wants to be a part of it now. That's downright evil.
