Interesting. I know some people in the twin towns area with a Scandinavian surname. They also have Native American heritage. They go to T-Wolves and Vikings games.

Yeah, if you're not Norse and you live in a town other then the twin cities, odds are you are a Somalian

Yeah, I heard about the towns where the police don't go to because it is too dominated by the Somali when I was in Sweden.

Well they are gangs, and with gangs comes lawlessness..if you ask me, immigration was not what Sweden needed, as it actually made it worse

No...I have many arab and levantine friends and it is sad to see how their families are involved in all this

No I wish I had. I've been to Denmark and Germany and France, other than Sweden but I've never been to norway

If you ever do skip Oslo and head straight for Bergen. The the Fjord is magnificent and the architecture is outstanding. I am not a huge fan of Oslo though.

My friends are from the other twin city actually. But MN is better known.
2 of them were twins. Heart failure as well. One died with the mechanical heart and the other refused that treatment and is now post transplant.
A lot of my heartie friends are dying. I have survivors guilt because I survived.

Yeah Ive heard of a lot of people out there refusing treatment now because of the "faith based" charismatic people

Yeah, people refuse treatment for some reason...

Her twin died because of complications with the mechanical heart. She didn’t want the mechanical heart to kill her by getting infection. I had some of the same complications, incluinfections.

I’m cool with that. You have to make the advanced care thing with a Dr here. After we finished he said he’d probably have a very similar one if he’d been through what I had. Even 10 years ago, I would have died regardless of what they tried.
Medical science is so good now that people regularly survive and live very unnatural lives. I had an artificial pump with a controller and batteries attached. That’s nothing like a natural life.
Look up ecmo (extra corporeal membrane oxygenation). I had that but kept dying, so the mechanical heart was done.
I even know someone who was awake and moving on ecmo. She could shower with assistance in ICU in hospital.
At some stage, we need to decide how far is too far for medicine to go.

That’s where you’re from. I knew that flag and the bottom right. I’m in Australia. We see them all the time here at sporting events like tennis.

I actually was born in the US but i have Norwegian/Swedish heritage and me and my family went to Norway last summer.

I loved Sweden I was there for an entire year and it's so sad that I never got to the other Scandinavian countries other than Denmark

It’s a very different society to Scandinavian societies

I know.

My family has been living here since the mid 1800's in Minnesota, a lot of people of Scandinavian decent live there.

But very recently a bunch of Muslim Somalian people have moved in so I guess there is a lower percentage of Norse people now.
