I used to have the free version (I'm a premium user now)  and it would do this quite often. I still don't know why.

I also used to listen to a song and turn my internet off immediately and it'd play like- 6-8 songs before I'd have to turn mobile data on again

Mine does that on my iPad but not my phone

And I use my phone for work

So I got the free trial

and when it's done I'll probably get the premium
