Here if you can't go into the Desc: i just want to rant for a sec; why the f**k do schools undermine the difficulty of cs as a class. it is literally applied math, which most people hate, yet school uses it as a student dump for those that don't want to do other electives. i can't help but be sad for the cs teachers who have to deal with their students' bullshit every single day. there is such a large skill gap between people that are there because they're lazy, and people who actually know what they are doing. the simple solution of separating the cs classes sometimes isn't viable, so people who are actually smart and want to learn computer science are grouped up with stupid shits that don't care about the class at all and are only there because they don't want to do the other electives. computer science is so close to being my favorite class, but my only problem with it is the fact that i don't even feel safe in the class given the number of lazy shits who abuse others for personal gain. my solution to this for schools that cannot afford to have an advanced cs class is having simply separating the two types of people into different periods. yet, most schools don't even do this and let all of the smart students actually able to achieve something with the stupid shits that quite literally push you around and take your money. at least at my school.
