I don't normally get into mental health shit cause I'm a based sigma chad enjoyer, but I've been doing online school since the pandemic began and I can confidently say my mental health took a turn for the worse. I became significantly happier after I joined my robotics team and started meeting on a daily basis. Now I actually prefer school days when we meet over the weekends.

Any social interaction, even negative, is probably better than none at all.
