God of Technology

He spent most of his childhood in multiple foster homes, none of which were pleasant to him, so he kept running away. One day, he ran off to a park where a young Ruby was playing; he approached her and offered to play with her, though he was cut off by some human children wanting to bully Ruby for being part Inkla. Onyx would defend her, and they would become friends. As he and Ruby get older, they keep hanging out together, and Onyx gets adopted by good parents. Though Ruby started to develop feelings for Onyx, Onyx began to develop feelings for Ruby. Though their feelings for each other were obvious, they didn’t know they liked each other.

Onyx started to get a mechanics hobby; he built his own PCs and repaired the car, you name it. He also got a gaming hobby and eventually became a professional gamer. Even though Ruby didn’t know squat about technology or gaming, she would listen to Onyx go on and on about it for hours. Onyx would make more friends through gaming and would even make an eSports team. He and his team were doing well in a gaming tournament, though his team lost in the final round. Onyx got EXTREMELY pissed about it and slammed his head into his PC, and stopped moving.

Onyx was sent to the hospital, where he would stay for a few days; the doctors were unable to remove the PC from his face for some reason, and no one knew why. Ruby visited him every day, but one day, the PC was gone, no one knew how, and he also gained a godly aura; strangely enough, his skin was like metal, too. He wakes up to Ruby looking concerned for him. Ever since that moment, he could change his shape as if he was made of nanotechnology, yet still a living being, he became known as The God of Technology, and he has been alive for the same amount of time Ruby has, though Onyx isn't that reminiscent on the past, he wants to strive towards the future, to see what else he can do and improve. He has saved Ruby many times as well.

Collector: interesting... Every god I've seen wields some form of magic, but this is the first time I've seen one who wields technology

Onyx: yes, I am… different in a way.

Collector: since you are described as being made of nanotech I would like to take a sample of you for analysis. My equipment far surpasses most of what the inkeverse has.

Onyx: not quite, see I still am flesh, yet my body behaves as if it were made of nanotechnology.

Collector: ah, so you are simply a shapeshifter. It seems nanotech was simply an assumption since I've heard your skin is metal-like

Onyx: again, not quite; even just my arms can morph into technological feats far beyond this era. To be honest, I don't fully understand it, and I would like to learn more.

Collector: interesting

Onyx: indeed, I did- or will if you may- start the 10th, 11th, 13th, 14th, and 15th technological revolutions after all.

Collector: ',:/

Onyx: yes

Onyx: hmm?

X: *punching quicker*

Onyx: *still isn’t affected*

X: *still punching*

Onyx: *sigh* alright I’ve had enough. *one of his mechanical arms grab one of X’s ankles and lifts him up to make him stop punching*

X: *evil grin*

Onyx: *holds his hand out then sends a powerful shockwave while at the same time let’s go of X’s ankle*

X: all the time i was punching you I was absorbing your energy

Onyx: ?

X: basically, the more I hit you the stronger I got

*it feels like he kicked something made of metal*
Onyx: … *gives X the “I'm not mad, just disappointed” look*

X: *barraging him with punches*

Onyx: *his skin is like metal, he is barely phased at all*

X: *punching quicker*

Onyx: *waits for an opening*

X: *STANDING HERE I REALIZE*

Onyx: *tanks it, his hair is a bit singed though*

X: heheh, you're pretty strong *turns the beam into 2 balls of fire in his hands*

Onyx: I am close in power to the goddess of magic, Ruby if you know her. *prepares himself*

X: nice to know! If I beat you, then I'll challenge ruby myself *runs at him*

*the hammers quickly destroy the armor*

Onyx: *smirks as he seems confident*

X: *launches his leg down at onyx*

Onyx: “oh shit” indeed. *the arm slams X into the ground*

X: *kicks the arm off and starts spinning*

*flames appear in his hands as he spins faster*

X: you wanna go for a sparring match

Onyx: if you insist. *metallic carms come out of his back, many on them have blades at the ends but others have laser guns and claws*

X: *readies himself*

*the bladed arms attack first, swinging at X from many directions at once*

*prism armor forms around him*

Onyx: *seeing the armor, some arms come out with hammers to destroy the armor*

X: *whistling, waiting for it to break*

X: *kicks the arm off and starts spinning*

Onyx: *waits*

X: *makes a flame tornado*

Onyx: hmm.

X: *spins closer to him*

Onyx: *waits*

X: *turns the tornado at onyx*

Onyx: *isn't affected by it*

X: *slams directly into him*

Onyx: *again, isn't affected, as of his skin is made of a very strong metal*

X: *jumps back and absorbs the tornado into a ball*

Onyx: *defensive stance*

X: *throws both of the fireballs at him, which grow 3 times their size*

Onyx: *creates a shield*

X: *behind him, fires the same beam as last time*

Onyx: *somehow, his tail catches the beam and shoots it back at X*

X: *absorbs it quickly* damn

Onyx: *lowers the shield* is that all?

X: *punches him in the face with all the force he hit the prism armor with*

Onyx: *swiftly catches the punch*

X: Fool!! *slams his foot into his [REDACTED]*
