Okay so, basically the au is a "What if" to a question I asked myself when I began reading more of the books. This question was "What if these characters survived?". So, I made it a thing as I went on reading. The games and books in this AU are connected, but the movie is not.

And in this AU, certain evil characters get redeemed or stay evil. The victims from the books survive (Including Matt, yes I know he was a jerk.) Some things stayed the same, while other things did not. OC's also exist here.
