eh. I mean like overall on a broad range nowadays people have phones normally and a lot of gen z do have phones as well. I mean it's not true for everyone but I've seen like 6 year-olds playing on a tablet in a restaurant for crying out loud. honestly I think society has been degrading through the years. I mean I don't have a phone but that's just because of my parents and the way I was raised. I too would probably waste time on my phone tbh.

I have a phone but my parents installed this dumb app that can see when I'm on my phone, what I'm doing on it, WHERE I AM, and it locks it at a certain time. I have trouble sleeping so this is inconvenient and because if I need to talk to someone besides my mom or 911, if its past 8 pm I can't. I'm almost 15 I would like a little privacy please.

hey I'm 15 too. but did you know that our brains aren't fully developed until we're in our twenties? and I speak from experience, you're lucky that your parents did that first thing. I wasn't responsible with technology at all and did things I shouldn't've. plus I mean like come on. privacy? you live in your parents' house. they provide everything for you. shouldn't you respect their wishes? trust me, it's for your own good and because they love you that they do this. plus the where you are part is very useful. especially if you get kidnapped XD. sorry didn't mean to rant or give you life advice I'm just saying.

and trust me, if that app wasn't installed, you would do smth you shouldn't've and when they found out, and they would find out eventually, you would have to build up their trust again. and building up trust takes a lot of time.
