the Hero of Time from Legend of Zelda. at 8 years old, he set out to avenge his adopted father, time-traveled to the future and became trapped in an adult’s body, saved the world, went back to a past time where no one knew him and everything he had done never happened. then, he went on a journey to find his only friend, who had vanished. he ended up in an alternate dimension and was possessed by a deity to destroy a demon. then, he found his way home, grew up, had kids, and then died a lonely, painful death.
