Why do sharks live in water?
Because in the year 1856 the national curtain club declared war on the sharks old home, the trees. They decided that they didn't want to hurt the sharks, so they genetically mutated them to be predatorial sea animals (they used to eat leaves). After that they made trees way taller and sent the sharks into the ocean, never to be seen unless someone was diving.
