i was thinking about being orthodox though but a lot of stuff pushed me to be catholic

baptist don’t pray to saints or Mother Mary but idk if that’s true
baptist also don’t have a pope or anything idk any differences besides that

religion is confusing as hell

but the main thing is that we pray and worship Jesus
It’s also important to believe in the Holy Trinity and to believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that God raised him from the dead after being deceased for three days

why do people only refer to the Father as "God" when the holy trinity says that all 3 of them are "God"

okay so i think in a sense all three of them share the same spirit so they are the same person, they just all serve a different purpose

“God” is the Heavenly Father “Jesus” is the Son of God and Savior of the world, and The Holy Spirit or The Holy Ghost the spirit of God, he helps us avoid temptations and helps us stay clean from sin, he also comforts us

Idk why it’s done that way but that’s how Jesus says it, he says “Father” or “Abba” they mean the same thing

I think it's interesting how different denominations of the same religion can be so different
