The person is essentially in a permanent coma unless woken by the machine, unlike typical lucid dream which last around 45 minutes. The lucid dream will be eternal and never ending. Of course we do not know the possibilities of the brain since the world we would be in from a lucid dream would be fictional for information we do not know but everything we do know will also be present.
