Chapter 4: with rage (sorry for the bad art)

Matt and Ares stand facing each other in the depths of their mind.
Matt: you took my body? But what about the-
Ares: oh please, that spell was weak to begin with. Breaking after dead, hah!
Matt: what the hell did you do to this place?!
Ares: just some redecorating. What do you think?
Matt looks around new Olympus. There's red flags everywhere, with most gods hiding from their benevolent leader. He then turns to a cage containing a depressed Mercury.
Matt: WHAT THE HELL?!
Ares: I needed a way for them to not step into my domain, and besides, she hated you.
Matt: the feeling was NOT mutual!
Ares: whatever.
He gets out his weapon, not even looking at Matt.
Matt: I'm not lying! I'm happy for what she's done to us! She made spark happy, she helps out Violet with singing, she showed Eren love...
Ares smirks as he hears the word love as he appears behind Matt
Ares: speaking of love... You want to know what happened to your wife?
Matt: no...
Ares: after the incident, she was distraught. She wanted to have twins when your little adventure was over. And you would have too... You would have a baby boy, and a baby girl...
Matt: shut up...

Ares: but that didn't happen. Because I made sure that fate never happened. I distracted your mind with doubts to make you decide to fight alone, and violet was there to watch it all.
Matt: shut up!
Ares: she went insane, moving to her little shelter in Japan, killing everyone in her way. Your wife, the one you loved so much... Was turned into a murderer by you
Matt: SHUT UP!
He tried to throw a punch as Ares but he laughs at the attempt. He carelessly dodges as Matt tries his best but Ares lifts one finger as chains wrap around Matt, pulling him to the ground.
Ares: I don't have time for you. He's coming
With that, Ares was back into reality as he finishes preparations. He walks outside as he waits. Athena stands by his side
Athena: um... Lord Ares... Who are we waiting for?
Ares: wait for it...
Athena: no seriously, who's coming.
Ares:...you hear that? That's the sound of pure rage.
Athena was about to speak again but she heard it to. Screaming. Getting closer. And closer. And then...
X : ARRREEEEESSSS!!!
X grabs Ares mid flight and is about to punch him but... He's not holding anything...

X: what in the- I was sure I grabbed him.
He looks down to see Ares, reading a book, mocking him.
X: you think this is funny?! You're having a little laugh? Well haha, give me back my friend!
X lands down and tries to punch Ares but it's like he's not even there.
Ares: my God, I thought you e gotten stronger. Guess not.
X: *thinking* he's extremely fast...? No that's not it, I would have felt the wind blow past me...
X decides it's time to burn this f**ker. He blasts him with fireballs as Ares dodges
X: I get it now! You can use this terrain to teleport wherever you want! What a cowardly tactic.
Ares: it's a tactic nonetheless.
X is now extremely pissed off as the fight continues.
Meanwhile, in the underworld, Saike is talking with Violet and Eren
Saike: so do you two come here often or-
Eren: this is violets first time
Violet: it's very creepy in here...
Confetti: arf!
He jumps into violets arms, wanting pets.
Violet: at least I still have you!
The goddess Persephone walks into the room.
Persephone: mortals, and one god, we cannot see the fight between your friend and X.
Eren: what? Why not?

Persephone: it appears I can only observe the mortal words, new Olympus not being one of them.
Fox: hm... If only we had a double agent or something. That would really help us. Ares will sense our presence the moment we step in...
Then a voice is heard
???: your friend is losing.
Saike: hm... That voice...
Eren: you've heard it before?
Saike: I think I had...
???: I will keep in contact for now...
Violet: wait! Who are you?
???: my name is not important, but if it is to you, then call me R.
As saike tries to think of who the voice could be...
X is not having a good time..he tries to blast Ares some more but he seems to not even be sweating.
Ares: jeez, ten years and you still can't lay a punch on me? Your pathetic.
X: shut up, if it weren't for Matt's body, you would be dead by now!
Ares: really... What about the people you've sealed?
X: ...what...?
He was taken aback. How could he know? He just got here and they haven't even interacted in years.
Ares: I can sense them all,Xanxa, Xninix ,Scar, Scorn, and Blast. All screaming to get out.

X: Shut up...
Ares: so in reality, you're worse than me. I only contain Matt to keep him alive, you on the other hand, use your own race for power.
X: SHUT UP!
X snaps as he charges up a huge attack, bigger than anyone on Olympus has seen so far. X fires a huge beam of fire and Ares who smirks.
Ares: finally...
X is confident this will do something to Ares, but... He's just waking through towards X without any harm on his body whatsoever. And that smile, that damn smile. It never fails to tick X off. How could anyone smile on a fight that's life or death. Ares grabs X by the neck and punches him into a building.
Ares: ahh... Fully adapted.
X: *thinking* damn it... He's immune... Maybe if I used my- no that won't work, he'll just adapt to that too....
Ares then positions himself the same way that X did earlier in the fight.
X: *thinking* wait... Is he about to- no it can't be... He can only attack, not mimic
Ares: how did you do it? Like this?
Ares hands bursts into black flames as he waves it around. X is in shock, not only had Ares adapted to his attack, but was able to make it his own. X stands up, getting ready to face the atrack

Meanwhile, Eren and the rest are listening to R
R: Saike, on my cue, make a portal to New Olympus and get X out of there.
Saike: won't Ares notice?
R: not if everything goes perfectly right.
Back at New Olympus, X stands in front of the God that has tooken one of his friends.
X: you're gonna kill me?
Ares: Indeed, wouldn't it be fitting to die to your own attack?
X: well... I won't die a coward... So go ahead. Take your shot. Just know that if this is where I die, I hope this place will be empty with just your thoughts. Your own personal hell... You cowards.
Ares blasts the beam of black fire at x. Right before the attack lands...
R: now!
Saike springs into action, portals, grabs X, pulls him into the underground, and closes the portal. X gets up from the ground
X: where am I... Did I die? Wait... I still have my body.
He looks around and sees saike
X: oh hey saike.
Saike: hey. You're lucky I saved you back there. Imagine if I was a second too late.
Eren thinks to herself as X walks up to her
Eren: you shouldn't have fought him
X: I know, but... Now we know he can mimic.

Eren: but you could have died, and I can't risk losing anyone else
Violet is in the corner with Persephone as she tries to comfort her.
X: oh yeah... I think Ares mentioned something about Matt being alive?
Violet and Eren both look up
Both: what?!
X: he's keeping him alive... I don't know why but I'm sure he has a reason...
??? It's to torture him.
Everyone turns to the source of the voice to see a extremely tall lady.
Saike: you're...
