First of all, if you’re banned you likely don’t have mod. Secondly in cats case if they were to get mod and are still comment banned then they are most likely allowed to uncomment ban themselves.

mods can and do get banned. If they were comment banned by another mod, then yes, they can unban themselves, but it would be mod abuse if they were banned for a reasonable cause
