99% effective means 1 in a hundred people gets infected! For a industry that regularly touts 99.96% effectiveness and the like to say 99% that must be a pretty firm number. They report only 20 breakthrough cases of people on PREP. Yet millions of doses? 1 in a hundred! only 20 breakthrough cases? This is not a joke! A gay buddy of mine was talking about getting on it and showed me a pamphlet! This was my take away of the information!
