7: My parents started arguing almost every day. It would be varying things, but the most common argument was over who was doing the most for the house generally.

My mother would cook, clean, take care of me before and after school. I would do my homework, watch and watch TV (language learning shows, because kids shows didnt really interest me.

My father would be the one going to work, getting money so we could pay our apartment bills and feed ourselves every day.

9: This year was hard, but not my worst year.

My "grandparents" one time "restrained" me when I was allegedly having a crisis. But the way they "restrained" me was far from legal.

(Keep in mind I was around maybe 50 pounds at the time, meaning I was at the thinner end of the normal kid that age. They were both over 130 pounds)

The way they restrained me without going into tok much detail:
One was sitting on my lower legs in order for me to not move them, and the other sat on my chest while holding my arms down. This "restraint" lasted at least a half hour.
My organs were being crushed.

I made my first friends that year. (Unfortunately none of them I have contact with anymore, for varying reasons.
I'll get into that later.)
My best friend was this guy I met around my first day of school. Keep in mind, I was a brand new syudent at the school and didn't know anyone. His name was Brian.

He came into class late for whatever reason, and we were doing projects in groups. The teacher asked if anyone wanted to have him and his group, and no other group offered for a few seconds. I felt bad, so I said he could join mine. The teacher said yes, and so he did. He introduced himself, I introduced myself, and we discussed our interests while doing our work. We would talk every day on the bus about varying things. Books, games, etc.

Before 7:

I don't remember much of my childhood up until the age of 7, as that's when my memories started truly forming.

Every so often I'd get spanked for doing dumb shit or something, or sent into the "time out" corner in a chair for like however long it took me to apologize for whatever it was I did.

12:I returned back to my original school district in order to begin middle school. Nothing interesting really happened this year except for that I joined imgflip in March (2020)

8: One night my father just couldn't take the arguing anymore, and he decided he was going to pack up and move out. He did, I was awake for all of it. I didn't really understand what was happening, I just knew that he was leaving and was unsure of whether I'd ever see him again or not.

After my father moved out, my mother's friend Daisy would visit us every so often. A lovely woman, I miss her dearly. She and my mother at some point had a falling out and she stopped seeing us.

My mother also invited her friend Kim to live with us in order to help pay the bills. Kim paid very little compared to what she was supposed to, she also stole things from my mom, and she was a shoplifter.

Eventually Kim brought her pet rat Gunter (RIP little buddy, I miss you..) into the house, and then she bought two more rats (one male, one female.)
[The two rats later became mates.]

She also brought in her (now ex) boyfriend, who had a cat named Lufia (I f**king loved Lufia). I used to try to build her trust.

8, part 2:

Kim's boyfriend and Kim had a fight in the hallways outside of our apartment, but had the apartment door open. I hid in the corner of a wall, wo I could see them but they couldn't see me. She punched his tooth out of his mouth, and blood went everywhere. This was the first violent fight I ever saw.

My mother could no longer afford to live in the apartment, so we moved to a different apartment.

The rats had babies. LOTS of babies.

I got taken away from my mother because of Kim being a fugitive, so I moved into my "grandparents" (ew....) house.

8, part 3:

I had a couple friends at my school, but I was also getting bullied. These friends were absolutely lovely people!
We used to hang out every day at school, and we shared many classes.

I also had a couple friends at my apartment, we used to hang out every other day after school.

One of these days was Halloween. Their parents took me out trick or treating (I'll never forget their kindness).
After we got back, them and their brothers were holding a boys vs girls "war" over candy. I wasn't on either side, but ended up getting g candy from both sides. The boys and girls side both treated me as an equal, a member of their team.

Moving away was devastating. I had to let go of all of my friends less than a year after making them.

It was sad, honestly.

10: nothing interesting really happened here. I made a new friend, got bullied for being the "new kid" despite being at the school the year before. My "grandparents" started yelling at me pretty often. If they weren't yelling at me, they would yell at each other.

Background info: my biological father was an abuser.

He killed my mother's pets, and he kicked her in the stomach while she was pregnant with me.

My mother got a restraining order on him on my behalf.

Background info 2: the person I will be referring to here onward is the person who is my true father ("stepfather", the man who raised me)

Background info 3: I had a cat named Smoke who liked to play with strawberries and eat them🧍

Dealt with the aftermath of the rape, told DCF but they didn't do anything until the 3rd try which was when I had gotten court involved. The rest of my family never believed me.
Also the grandparents starting beating me, strangling me, all that "fun" shit.
I ran away for good, and in turn I lost communication with you folks.

11: Boy, this year was interesting.

Remember that new friend from last year? Yeah she decided to backstab me.
She tried to kiss me in my attic one day when we were having a playdate..

She talked about me behind my back, spread rumors, laughed at me to my crush, broke my friend group apart to the point where they were all talking shit about each other and fighting each other. I really only had one friend left uninvolved in the drama (Brian)

She had threatened to kill me one day. So you know what I did? I brought a knife to school, held it up to her, and voiced a very quiet "if you try anything..."
(Several years later, we realized it was dumb kid bullshit and made up.)

The school took my knife, suspended me for a month. They sent me to a different school as a temporary placement, but I ended up never returning to the original school because I liked the new one better.
It was a behavioral school, and I met my first official boyfriend there. He was a year older than me (shocking, I know /s).

That dude ended up talking about me behind my back, telling me to date other people in my class (including a guy who had a crush on me but I didn't really reciprocate).
He also probably cheated on me with my best friend there.
Also she started to hate me for whatever reason (never really found out.)
