October 3rd 1940: The Jews in Warsaw are moved into the Warsaw ghetto
May 16th 1943: The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising ends. The ghetto has been destroyed, with about 14,000 Jews killed and about another 40,000 sent to the death camps at Majdanek and Treblinka.
