Chapter 1: Drink of Memories

A woman walks into a bar late at night.
Bartender: Welcome Eren. You look well
Eren: Thanks...
She sits down and lies her head on the table
Bartender: Is something wrong?
Eren: Something wrong? SOMETHING WRONG? LOOK AROUND YOU!
The bartender shushes Eren
Bartender: keep your voice down! if they hear us complaining, we'll be next!
Eren: You're right you're right... sorry
Bartender: Anyways, tell me your side of the story. Why are you this upset?
Eren sighs as she looks outside. the world is a mess, Olympian guards everywhere, buildings destroyed just for one gods benefit.
Eren: ...Ares ruined everything
Bartender: The god?
Eren: Yeah.
Bartender: What did he do to you?

Eren sighs again as she takes out a picture of her best friend, Matt.
bartender: Hey that guy looks alot like Ares.
Eren: Thats because that bastard took his body.
The bartender chokes on his drink
Eren: it all started one day where we were heading to olympus. Me, Matt, Violet, Spark, and Mercury...
She pauses at the thought of Mercury
Eren: anyways we were having a fight with Zeus, and Matt got struck down good. due to Ares sharing a body with Matt, Ares completely took over his dead body and tried to kill all of us. he took Mercury and tossed us out of olympus
Bartender: geez. thats wild. you need a drink
Eren: Yes!
the bartender slides a glass across the table
Eren: He took my friends body, kidnapped my girlfriend, and now I've lost contact with the remaning bunch. But I think I have an old friend who might help
Bartender: really? Who?
Eren: His name is X
silence filled the room
Eren: I don't know what the X stands for
Bartender: Oh okay.
then the TV flickers to life

~doo dee doo da~
Bartender: OH NO! TAKE COVER
Eren: shit... not now...
the screen flickers to show an all to familer face to Eren
Ares: Hello mortals. it's saturday and you know what that means! You know the drill, We pull a random name of a city from this box, and it will be destroyed!
Ares reaches into the box and pulls out a city name
Ares: ah, New york city! half of it has already been destroyed but whats the fun in pulling again
Eren: Oh crud.
Bartender: THAT DOES IT! WE'RE DOOMED!
Ares prepares to punch from Olympus, the second he throws his punch in the air, New York city gets destroyed into bits. After a while, the dust settles to show nothing left but debris
Ares: Thank you all for dying, and I'll see you in the underworld
Eren, who thought quickly at the time of need, used an energy barrier to save the bartender
Bartender: Y-you have powers? Are you also a god?
Eren: what? No. I inherited this from my mother. Listen, I need your help. things are getting dire.
She takes out a image of her friends
Eren: have you seen this woman?
She points at a purple haired girl next to Matt.
Eren: Her name is Violet, she's half demon half human, please tell me you heard something!

Bartender: Hm... demons huh? I did hear about some demon sightings in Japan?
Eren shakes her head in annoyance
Eren: Yeah that sounds like her.
She hands him some money
Eren: Sorry about your Bar, here's a tip
Bartender: thanks. come back anytime
Eren: I will.
She runs off, in search for a way to Japan, avoiding the Olympian guards in the way. meanwhile, Ares is talking to the other gods.
Zeus: You know you'll get bored of killing mortals eventually, right?
Ares: I won't
Poseidon: And what makes you so certain?
Ares: Simple. I can still hear that annoying brats voice in my head. the more I destroy citys is a higher chance of me killing on of his friends, causing me to hear his screams of pain. besides, I get more control of his body which is a plus
He turns to a goddess wearing Olympian armor
Ares: Athena... you always were said to be a superiors god of war. bet you didn't think I would come back, did you
She doesn't respond. She just looks at Mercury, who's asleep in her cage
Athena: Why didn't you kill the girl yet?
Ares: I need a hostage.

Zeus: A hostage? What for?
Ares: I know damn well that Eren and the others are going to attack me, so if they land a single hit on me, a kill trigger will activate, killing her instantly
Poseidon: Where did you even learn that?
Ares: from the fox.
the gods are confused
Ares: You wouldn't get it. anyways, I need to talk with that time traveling goddess, that blood guy, and that guy with the weird armor. According to the brats memories I think his name was Supernova? Eh whatever.
He walks off in thought as he sits on his throne
Ares: So... Athena, be on the lookout for the false blondie
Athene sighs as she flies off
Ares: I'll be awaiting the arrival of that goddess now...
He flicks one hand teleporting a goddess to his throne
Ares: It's a pleasure to meet you, Ruby

Oooh I like the title you gave Ruby, “The time-traveling Goddess” I might use that

Violet: Thats the worst part! He's soulless! He's still in the body Ares is using!

Saike: ...Huh

I was gonna backstab that guy...

violet: Oh? You were working against ares?

Violet: I see... anyways I'm just a legend now. The demon of Japan. pretty cool title, right?

Saike: Nice, people call me Blood Demon, but im only half demon

violet: same! However I can turn full demon under stress.

Saike: I might be able to, its just never happened

Violet: *In full demon form, looking around her surrondings*

Saike: *sitting on a bench, drinking coffee*

violet: *spots Saike but doesn't recognize* "WHO SENT YOU?!"

Saike: Huh?

Violet: WAS IT ARES! TELL HIM I WON'T HELP HIM!

*She's already hostile*

(Btw I remember something about Saike pretending to serve Ares but is gonna pull a fake out)

Saike: What... are you talking about?

Violet: *lunges towards Saike and slashes with hand and her katana*

Saike: *summons ブラッドリーバー and blocks it*

Violet: Hm. Anyways we should probably lay low. the Olympians are always on the lookout

Violet: If they see us talking, Ares will immediately find out you're backstabbing him

Saike: Ah, I see, here lets go

*makes a portal*

Violet: Wait!

*She points to the distance where a blond hair girl falls onto the ground*

Saike: *makes another portal under her and over him*

Eren: WOAH!

*Slashes again frantically, not even focused*

Saike: *unsheathes Kuroba, and blocks with both swords*

Can you let a guy drink some coffee?

violet: SHUT UP, ARES PAWN!

*she attempts to stab him*

Saike: *grabs it, and drives it into the ground*

violet: *Not listening still* DIE ALREADY!

Saike: LISTEN TO ME

*she feels immense energy coming from him, and shivers go down her spine*

Violet: Huh? *turns back to her human form*

Violet: Saike?

Saike: Yea, thats me

Violet: oh my god I'm so sorry... it's just that Matt... *Starts crying*

Saike: What?

*goes over to her to comfort her*
