These are different types of dwellers. The one with the stag beetle horn is a forest dweller, the one with two horns and no eyes is the cave dweller, the one with flower petals is a field dweller. They are all a species similar to humans but not related to humans
Dwellers of different types can have offspring, as shown on the right, but it rarely happens because of their different lifestyles.

I love the mentally ill one in the top right

That one is the child of a forest dweller and a cave dweller
It inherits the beetle horn of the forest dweller and the long arms of the cave dweller
