by the way. I actually listen to any music from the 50s-2000s on my wifes old record player that originally belonged to her mom. she gave my wife and I a total of 143 albums. she personally listens to all the classic rock, while I listen to all of them. such as the 90s and 2000s rap albums, the classic rock from the 60-70s, the classic jazz, the sad but calming blues and the music from movies like the music Hans Zimmer has made. we even have one of Doom 2016s soundtrack. which is my wife's favorite album of all time because she loves the Doom franchise.
I will note. we all like our own music. I may not care for modern rap, lady Gaga,Taylor Swith or Justin Beaber for example. but there's people who love that music. I respect there opinion like a mature adult should.
