There are pros and cons for auto approval and different pros and cons for manual approval. Seems there are two types of user preference. Either way, not everyone is happy
The setting in the middle (like the fun stream and other Imgflip created streams) would be worst of all, some submissions would never show up in the approval queue and also take ~hours for an algorithm to approve. Imagine the outrage.
