Another player ability idea. Well two.



Medium: once per day, can find out a dead players role, or have that dead player tell who they think is the killer.

Bodyguard: that person can make another immune to death for one day.

The journalist role. Let's say required 3 days to investigate one person. So that player doesn't have to be that active. But you have a great idea.

Basically during the meeting you remove those psoriasis but keep the links on a separate psts that the deceptive has access to. So they'll just set up in one room with maybe the bodyguards ability on them and just read EVERYTHING.

My seguestion. Was remove those posts (dissaprive tgem) but put the links in the detectives folder (a post outside of the game only you abd the detectives have access to). Then make new room posts, all of this during the meeting.

Cook: only a standard civilian or a killer is able to be a cook. One is chosen randomly at the start of each day.



So the civilians with a special role (and the fox) never get that temporary role. So if some claims to have a role but then gets chosen to be the cook, their lieing.



Also how about for the journolist it only reveals their team. That way if it's one of the three killers they might find the fanatic. But not realise it.

Also it heavily relies on a sense of respect for the event. Because anyone could just screenshot thre murderer killing them and then the whole thing would be ruined

I like the bodyguard idea a lot. But the problem with the medium is that the dead player can just blurt out who killed them. Because the murderer will themselves go up to the person and off them.

Journalist: once every __  day's, they can find out the role of any player (more OP than the mystic but it takes an amount t of days to recharge or conduct the investugatin)



Fanatic: on the killers team, they win if the fanatic dies in a group vote



Twin: there are two twins. They know who the other is off the bat.

So far I have an idea on "teams"

Team murder: killer, fanatic, something else

Team civilian: everyone else.

Team fox: the fox



Player role (only if there is alot of people/civilian roles): thw fox plauer wins if all people of the civilian role are killer in anu way and they live.

So on the civilian team there are roles (e.g. bodyguard, twins, journalist) the remainder are normal civilians. 



The fox player is by themselves (only one person can be the fox) an they win the game if they are alive when everyone who is a normal civilian is killed in anyway (e.g. murdered or voted out)

The win condition for thw fox will be complicated as they need alot of people to die, whilst making sure the killer r the cilivians don't win in the process.

A third role for the killer team is.



Disgues master.

Basically they can take temporary control of a person's account for 15 min. The reason the person will go along with this is that if they aren't voted out. Then they gain the effects of the bodyguards ability on one day of their choice.

How about,



Mafia boss: the player can chose a civlian each day  they may kill another civlian as if they were a killer.



This ability if used wisely can give someone holding a grudge able to take revenge. And it'll also split up the civlian team. (Ofc the civilian won't have to murder anyone.)

Yea I’ll have to revise that. That was really my only problem. What I plan on doing is making it so that only the detective can present evidence, and that the detective has a gun with 2 bullets. So like 2 strikes to guess who he thinks the killer is. 1st strike is like a 5 day cooldown. Next strike he gets fired and demoted to civilian. If he guesses right tho they all win

So how about, he presents evidence. The rest can vote however they like. But the final decision is with him because he has the gun. (Only allowed to fire during a meeting, unlimited ammo)

So if the killer is correctly guessed. Then yes at the end of it all the sheriff will be allowed to fire. But I do think it’s interesting to have them keep their gun ready in the open
