I just realized something...
Religion is just a kind of mythology...

Mythology basically was religion before religion

actually no it isn't, bc in order for something to be a myth, nobody has to believe in it. Nobody believes in Greek gods, so they're a part of Greek mythology. However, Christianity and Islam are believed by hundreds of millions of people each; thus neither is a myth
So religion is not a mythology

Not anymore though. It's such a rarity. Thats why it's called a myth. It wasn't a myth at the time ofc but it is one now.

Actually Christianity and Islam started around those times and neither have died out. The Bible has been around for much longer than Greek mythology. I think it's safe to assume those two are here to stay for good.

If I didn't believe in a God I'm not sure I would trust the society we're becoming to not implode everything within the next few thousand years
Especially with all the AI we're making, it's almost like ppl are actively trying to bring about every movie about AI bringing extinction

But the point is, Greek mythology died in a very small amount of time, and neither christianity or Islam have.
Actually, did you know that in Israel, there was a prophecy about Alexander the Great, and so when he marched on their kingdom, the people showed him their texts talked about him and so Alexander the Great didn't conquer them because he liked them for that? (This actually isn't in the Bible, it's been recorded elsewhere in history)

It's weird bc even they themselves admit it doesn't add up all the time but they just then try to create new loophole theories that end up creating other problems

like evolution is extremely difficult to prove bc of intermediate links and all that and DNA and amino acids (amino acids inside organisms vary at a rate that makes no sense to the evolutionary order, for example, a horse and yeast organisms have more similarities than a horse and a donkey, which would not make any sense if life started from the simple organisms and evolved into more complicated ones). But they usually end up trying to circumvent these problems with solutions that just raise even more questions.

Things in the Bible have been proven. For example, Jesus is mentioned by a historian who didn't even believe in Him and isn't in the Bible. He also mentioned all the apostles dying to spread the faith (which is not something you'd do if you were trying to pioneer the greatest hoax of all time; the leader and all his disciples just die - no they'd want fame and wealth). The Babylonians and Assyrians and Persians have been documented outside the Bible. So has Egypt.
