as usual, you’re playing as Wymar. You wake up in a strange pod, and walk around until you see a giant figure with a bell for a head (Beldum). Beldum tells you that he rescued you from the utter destruction of your homeland, and that you’re the only survivor. Blinded with rage, you listen to what he’s saying without any suspicion. You have no idea who destroyed it, but Beldum says there are 7 people related to the process of causing the catastrophe: Collector, the defender. Inkmatas, the witch. Eggyhead, the joker. Redi, the king. Supernova, the knight. Mr. Trollface (called mr T instead of Trollface to avoid copyright stuff), the businessman. Lay, the machine, and Pearlfan, the angel. Without questioning this information, you take an axe and armor from Beldum and after the tutorial boss, which is basically just testing your skills on Pixer, which in this game, is Beldum’s slave/helper, and go on your way. After the killing spree, when the supposed final boss, Collector, is dead, you meet up with Beldum and he congratulates you. However, you notice something. Those battles you just went through… were too easy. There were much stronger people than Wymar in her homeland. You realize… none of these people decimated your home. It was Beldum all along. But he has already left. In a race to catch up to him and get back to his laboratory, he throws everything he’s got at you in a boss rush against the souls of all the bosses. When you reach him, you fight Beldum and confront him in the final boss. Afterwards, you look upon all of the destruction you’ve caused. You’ve killed everyone, everything. You’ve done a terrible thing. But all you can do is look upon this new, defenseless world you caused. And smile. You have not acted as a hero. You have become the villain. And you are proud of it. my take on the bossfights game’s plot (blurred so you can read the text easier)
