I’m starting to think Tim Cook shouldn’t be making more money than the child laborers dying for our iPhones.

The situation in Congo is pretty dire. Despite being one of the richest countries in the world its citizens live in squalor due to exploitation from colonizers. It’s almost as if a country’s national wealth doesn’t reflect the quality of life of its people. Especially when so much of that wealth is in so few hands.
