Darth Vader blew up the planet housing terrorists other than that the Death Star was a scare tactic.
He did cut off Luke’s hand but let him live. He froze Han Solo who was wanted for millions of things throughout the galaxy. He attacked the f**king terrorists who were attacking them. Obi Won broke into their base with a laser sword so he was pretty much self defense
